PET POLICY

The resort is pet-friendly but has limitations. Only small pets can be accommodated. Guests must bring an appropriate leash or cage for their pets. Pets are not allowed in the sleeping areas.

NanZenKawina was born during one of the most uncertain periods of our time.

When the pandemic brought life to a standstill, it also offered a rare opportunity to pause—to step away from the noise, slow down, and reflect on what truly matters. Amid the uncertainty and isolation, the owners found themselves drawn to a simple idea: to create a place where one could breathe, find stillness, and feel at peace.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of the mountains between Pagsanjan and Cavinti, Laguna, they envisioned a private sanctuary where the tranquility of nature could become a refuge from the pressures of everyday life.

What began as a personal desire for peace gradually grew into NanZenKawina Mountain Resort—a 5,500-square-meter retreat created with the belief that some of life's most meaningful moments happen when we are given the space to simply be.

The concept was intentionally kept intimate. Rather than becoming a conventional resort filled with multiple groups and constant activity, NanZenKawina was designed to welcome only one group per booking, giving guests the rare luxury of privacy and allowing them to experience the property as their own private sanctuary.

Today, NanZenKawina continues to embody the spirit in which it was created: a place to disconnect from the rush, reconnect with nature, and rediscover the quiet moments that often get lost in everyday life.

From a sanctuary created for the owners' own search for tranquility, NanZenKawina has become a place where families, friends, and groups can create their own moments of rest, connection, and joy.
